HCL Learning, the Education & Learning division of HCL Infosystems Ltd., India’s Premier Hardware, Services and ICT Systems Integration and Distribution Company, is organizing a nationwide painting competition on the occasion of Independence Day for thousands of students across schools in eighteen states. Creativity and imagination has been on bright display so far at the competition titled as ‘Shades of Freedom’. Celebrating the spirit of Independence, the competition has been seeing enthusiastic participation by students from more than 100 schools across India.

 

The main objective of the competition is to celebrate the moment of delight and grandeur of India’s freedom. In respective schools the winner in KG to Class 5 category is to be awarded the HCL My EduDrive, while those from Class 6 to 12 will get receive the HCL My EduTab. Along with this, certificates are to be issued to all the winners. The Competition was held in three schools in Ghaziabad and was judged by the respective school teachers. The three schools in Ghaziabad where hundreds of schools participated in HCL Learning’s Shades of Freedom painting competition are Ghaziabad Public School, DPS Indirapuram and Children’s Academy. The competition will also be held soon in Khaitan Public School, Ghaziabad.

The competition is being organized in various schools across states including Uttar Pradesh, Delhi NCR, Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.  HCL learning is also conducting an online competition through their Facebook page ‘Shades of Freedom’ (https://www.facebook.com/learning.hcl) inviting students to upload their paintings, pictures and essays based on this theme.
