Felicitated with the ICSI Lifetime Achievement Award

 

Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), the apex body with a vision of being a global leader in promoting good corporate governance, has bestowed the ICSI Life Time Achievement Award 2013forExcellence in Corporate Governanceto Shiv Nadar, Founder & Chairman, HCL and Shiv Nadar Foundation. The award was presented by ShriArunJaitley, Hon’ble Union Minister for Finance, Defence and Corporate Affairs.

 

The award comesclose on the heels of several recent accolades in corporate governance conferred on HCL Technologies that includeBest Governed Company Award 2014 from The Asian Centre; the Outstanding Companyof the Year2014Award from CNBC and the Corporate Citizen awards by both PHD Chamber of Commerce and All India Management Association.

About ICSI

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has been constituted under an Act of Parliament i.e., the Company Secretaries Act, 1980 to develop and regulate the profession of Company Secretaries. The Vision of ICSI is “To be a global leader in promoting good corporate governance” and the Mission of ICSI is “To develop high calibre professionals facilitating good corporate governance”.
